  • We proudly cater to the entire Bay of Plenty, Auckland, and Waikato regions, ensuring your event is catered with excellence no matter where you are. If you're outside our typical service area, don't worry, write us and we'll do our best to accommodate you, and we'll work with you to find a solution.

  • To ensure the best experience for your guests, it is recommended that you place your order at least 7 business days prior to your event. Due to the made-to-order nature of our cooking, we require at least 96 hours' notice to fulfill your menu.

    For larger events we advise you to inquire at least 1 month in advance, but longer lead times are always beneficial.

    Please reach out in advance to confirm availability and any travel considerations for your specific location.

  • All orders delivered Monday - Friday require a $1,000.00 food & beverages minimum spend before 20% administrative fee and GST. All weekend deliveries (Saturday, Sunday & public holidays) require a $2,750.00 beverage minimum spend before 20% administrative fee and GST.

    A 15% surcharge applies to catering on public holidays to cover staff holiday pay, added at invoicing.

  • We want everyone to feel welcome, which is why our menu is fully plant-based, vegan, and gluten-friendly, with every dish made from scratch to ensure quality and ingredient control.

    We take extensive measures to minimise the risk of cross-contamination by using different equipment, thorough cleaning and sanitising, separate storage, and trained staff. However, at the moment our kitchen handles gluten and major allergens (dairy, eggs, fish, wheat, almonds, brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamias, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios, walnuts, soy, sesame and lupin).

    Despite our precautions, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination and therefore do not recommend our food for those with coeliac disease or severe food allergies.

  • With years of experience and time, honoured recipes, some passed down through generations - our culinary team creates dishes using bold techniques like smoking and fermenting to develop rich, complex flavour, diverse textures to delight every palate - even meat lovers can't resist enjoying these dishes, proving that delightful food transcends all boundaries. 

    Our proven shared plates are perfect for getting to know our vegan cuisine,  and yes, our popular gluten-friendly pasta is housemade. Alongside innovative new creations, we also offer familiar flavour dishes for those new to a plant-based cuisine.   • Through a range of initiatives, we actively work to reduce waste and promote environmentally conscious practices at every level of our operation from our sourcing ingredients, thoughtful portions to the office. All of our packaging is 100% eco-friendly and fully compostable. We minimize waste by recycling, reusing, and responsibly managing materials.

    By choosing sustainable materials, we help reduce our environmental impact while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Sustainability is not just a commitment - it's an integral part of how we serve our clients.

  • Veceto sources its food through trusted relationships with local farms and small, independent suppliers. We prioritise sustainability, ethical practices, and fairness in every partnership, ensuring that our ingredients are not only fresh and seasonal but also responsibly produced.

    By supporting local producers, we reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to thriving regional economies. Our goal is to consistently deliver high-quality ingredients at fair prices, on time, every time - so our customers can count on both exceptional taste and integrity in every dish.

  • During periods of high demand, please note that it may take up to 96 hours for our team to respond to a quote request with the necessary details. After a high-volume event or fair, kindly allow up to ten working days for a quote. We appreciate your understanding and patience!

MODIFYING ORDERS

  • We require final numbers 10 business days prior to the event.

  • We understand that plans may change; however, due to the preparation involved, the following cancellation fees apply:

    • More than 3 months’ notice: No cancellation fee. The 30% deposit remains non-refundable.

    • 6 weeks to 3 months’ notice: 25% of the total quoted amount.

    • 4 to 6 weeks’ notice: 50% of the total quoted amount.

    • 15 working days to 4 weeks’ notice: 75% of the total quoted amount.

    • 14 working days or less: 100% of the total quoted amount.

    All cancellations must be made in writing and confirmed by us.

  • Due to our 'on demand' ordering system, we are unable to reduce the quantities in your order.

  • Absolutely! We're happy to accommodate additions, as long as they're requested at least 96 hours before your scheduled delivery. Just send us an email to hello@veceto.nz with the order number and the details of what you'd like to add, and we'll take care of the rest.

  • Yes, together with our trusted partners, we offer a wide selection of event rental items, including crockery, glassware, cutlery, furniture, decorations, and more. We offer experienced service, bartenders and culinary staff to ensure your event runs smoothly.

    Rental and staffing costs depend on the specifics of your event. We are happy to customise everything to your needs by submitting a request. For more information, please see our terms and conditions. Our goal is to let you enjoy your event stress-free while we handle the rest.

NEED HELP?

  • We'll do our best to accommodate last-minute orders, but they are subject to availability. A 40% rush fee is applied to orders placed after 12 PM for the next business day.
